Lesson - 1 A Letter to God
English Summary
Lencho was a farmer. He had a field of ripe corn dotted with the flowers. He hoped for a rainshower to nourish his field of corn. He is confident that his field of corn is going to yeild him huge profits. Suddenly he saw huge mountains of clouds. He become happy that his wish comes true.
Whole field is covered with water but suddenly strong wind began to blow with the large hailstones.And the hailstones rained for one hour and field was covered with hails as it covered with salt. The corn was totally destroyed. The hail was left nothing, everything was destroyed. The demage posed a threat to the family's survival. Lencho was totally upset he did not understand what to do. But he had a great faith on god. Because in childhood he heard that god is everywhere and he will help everybody. So he decided to take help from god. He wrote a letter to god explaining his situation and demanding 100 pesos.
When one of the postman saw letter addressing to god he couldnot stop himself by laughing and immidiately he went to the postmaster. Postmaster opened the envelope and read the letter and decided to help Lancho. Then he contribute from his salary and collect some money from postoffice staff and some from his friends but still he was able to collect 70 pesos.
He wrapped the money in the envelope and addressed to Lencho. Next sunday Lencho received the envelope and opened it. He was very disappoint to find only 70 pesos. He become angry and again wrote a letter to god demanding the rest of money. He also wrote that god please do not send this money through the post office because staff of post office are "brunch of croops".

ये कहानी एक मेहनती किसान की है जो की अपने परिवार के साथ एक पहाड़ी पर रहता था। उसके खेत में मक्की के पौधे थे जिनपर फूल आ गए थे बस जरुरत थी तो एक बारिश की।Lencho सोच ही रहा था की अचानक बारिश शुरू हो गयी ये देखकर Lencho बहुत खुश हुआ। बारिश से पूरा खेत भर गया था लेकिन तभी तेज़ हवा चलने लगी और तेज़ बारिश के साथ बड़े बड़े ओले गिरने लगे। जो के लगभग एक घंटे तक गिरते रहे जिसकी वजह से खेत की पूरी फसल खराब हो गयी।
ये देख कर Lencho बहुत दुखी हो गया और उसको परिवार की फिक्र होने लगी। तभी उसको याद आया की उसने बचपन में सुना था की भगवान् सब कुछ देखता है और सबकी मदद करता है।
तो उसने भगवान् को एक पत्र लिखने का सोचा और पत्र में अपनी सारी परेशानी बता दी और अपने परिवार के लिए 100 pesos मांगे। और फिर उस पत्र को शहर जा कर post कर दिया।
जैसे ही postman ने पत्र देखा तो वो जोर जोर से हंसने लगा और वो पत्र लेकर postmaster के पास गया।
पहले तो postmaster भी हंसने लगा लेकिन अचानक रुका और कहने लगा की उसकी मदद चाहिए। उसने कुछ पैसे इकट्ठे किये जो की 70 pesos थे। उसने पैसे लिफाफे में डालकर उसपर Lencho लिख कर रख दिया। अगले sunday जब Lencho, पोस्टऑफिस आया तो postman ने उसको वो लिफाफा दे दिया। लेकिन लिफाफे में 70 pesos देखकर Lencho को बहुत गुस्सा आया और उसने फिर भगवान् को पत्र लिखा। और बाकी के पैसे मांगे। और साथ में ये भी लिखा की अब की बार पैसे postoffice से मत भेजना यहाँ के लोग बहुत बदमाश हैं।
